In the last Gold Rush, it wasn’t the prospectors that struck it rich, but the folks who were selling picks and shovels.  Offering diagnostic instruments to the digital technology marketplace represents an opportunity unheard of in recent history.  Companies with networks, manufacturers of network equipment, terrestrial fiber,  satellite and many many others take advantage of test equipment and software that is frequently forgotten about in the research process.  If done at all, it is frequently done by internal engineers or marketers and facilitated by sales people.
