The Actionable Digital Technology practice group is more than just a name. It has been created naturally, through not only direct business experience and subsequent market research experience in our markets, but also from real curiosity. We have technology habits, interests and hobbys. While that may get us made fun of from time to time, we are the enthusiasts you are looking for in hardware and software, online buinesses, devices and high tech manufacturing and don’t mind being the techie in the room when it is important. OK, maybe whenever.
A few of our real-life experiences:
- We were performing online research for the grocery marketplace before many research companies could perform online research.
- An Actionable Research principal was once a part of one of the very first companies to offer hosted applications on a rentable basis.
- We were using personal technology over 15 years ago and smartphones for the last 8 years
- We were laying thin films of platinum on Silicon in a university lab in the 80′s using chemical vapor deposition (no big deal if you don’t know what that is…)
- We understand why search is important in all contexts and have known this for over 15 years (even if we didn’t buy their stock back then…)
Bottom line: we have experience, we are competent in our craft and we are curious and we care about our clients’ success.

Our research process always follows a familiar process with no shortcuts. On rare occasions we will shorten components, but in general every project follows this familiar path:

- Instrument design [screeners, interview guide(s), survey(s)]
- Iterative editing and refinement
